Harris Associates provided Preconstruction and General Contracting Services for the complete renovation of six (6) unique villa suites, each with existing elevated stainless-steel pools. The four one-story villas are each 6,000 square feet and the two two-story villas are each approximately 9,500 square feet.

Each villa includes a unique book-matched Italian marble that flows from the floors to the walls, in a large format installation. Custom high-end millwork wall panels required coordination with other finishes, including custom metal ceiling panels from Germany. The owner spared no expense to achieve luxurious, over the top, breathtaking villas which Harris Associates was integral in executing successfully.

Various unique features such as custom saunas, salt rooms and custom artwork from world famous artist Damien Hirst were installed throughout the unique villas. The custom artwork included large fish tanks with preserved shark corpses, which required special drainage to satisfy the building department.

A strong focus on procurement was required to minimize impacts of long lead time items. The aggressive schedule and long lead times propelled the need to work around constraints, utilize hold-to dimensions and to come up with creative solutions.

Value Analysis was provided throughout the Design process. The logistics, coordination, and scheduling of this project along with the multiple long lead item finishes was a team effort between all involved.
